Our services include:Sign Up I wish to be contacted in regard to these services: Arncliffe Community CentreThe Arncliffe Community Centre is located at 35 Forest Rd Arncliffe.This centre will offer a variety of activities, events and services for local residents. We also have rooms for hire if you would like to hold your own event. Dementia Day CareA Flexible activities based program for clients who have been diagnosed with dementia. This also provides a break for carers. Domestic AssistanceA home cleaning service for those from a non-English speaking background. Home MaintenanceRoutine household maintenance, including plumbing, electrical work and handyman services. Home ModificationSpecialised jobs, including construction of access ramps and installation of grab rails and hand rails etc. This work is performed by our team of "tradies". Home Shopping ServiceAn easy convenient way to do your shopping. Simply call our office, place your order over the phone and select the time and day for delivery. It couldn't be easier! Information DeskA community information service. The "desk" is located at Westfield Hurstville and stocks a wealth of printed material on a variety of subjects. It is staffed by helpful volunteers from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday. A JP service is also provided. Meal DeliveryOur Meal Delivery Service delivers meals to your door. We have a huge variety of meals, including soups, desserts and finger food.Shopping Assistance with grocery shopping. Clients are transported to and from the shopping centre by mini bus, assisted by staff and volunteers.Social SupportOutings and home visits for those who are socially isolated and desire companionship. Outings include bus trips, lunch and the movies etc. Stroke Support GroupA group meeting for those recovering from the effects of a stroke. The group meets every Tuesday at the Mortdale RSL Club for socialising, exercise, communication clasess and lunch. Training LinkProvides a quality, affordable training service for staff from community organisations in St George and Sutherland Shire, building the skills needed by staff at all levels of these organisations.Volunteer LinkA volunteer recruitment, referral and training service for community groups in the region. We also provide support to Volunteer Managers, and run the Southern Sydney Volunteer Expo to help link potential volunteers with volunteer vacancies. |
